Reading: "Live. Love. Leo." by Judge Kemp

  • Rose City Book Pub 1329 Northeast Fremont Street Portland, OR, 97212 United States (map)

A reading followed by a Q&A with the exalted and entertaining Judge Kemp.

This compelling collection offers readers an intimate glimpse into the author's thoughts, ideas, and observations on life's complexities. Blending raw emotion with a playful and sometimes humorous tone, LIVE. LOVE. LEO. is painfully expressive, visually descriptive, and emotionally haunting. The poetry pays tribute to Black communities and those who identify within the LGBTOAl2S+ spectrum , offering representation and recognition in a world often seeking to silence their voices. The award-winning book also features original, custom artwork by local Portland artist Chris McMurry, adding a rich visual dimension to the storytelling.
