Bio: Cleo Birdseed uses music as a vehicle to open hearts and minds. Inspired at a young age by his late uncle Elliott Smith, Cleo taught himself to sing and play guitar and began composing songs and performing live throughout the West Coast. Cleo writes intricate and thoughtful music that blends influences from folk, rock, and alternative genres in a style that sounds uniquely his own. Cleo now lives on the road full time, writing and performing music wherever he travels to document and share the beauty and pain of a life lived in motion. Whether painting an abstract picture or sharing a true story from the road, Cleo's writing transports audiences directly into the story being told.
